"Put your seat belt on," Cindy heard intuitively. Fortunately for her, she paid attention to her inner wisdom. Soon after the fifty-five year old petite woman buckled her belt, the truck in front of her stopped with no warning. She quickly glanced into the rear view mirrors and saw oncoming cars in each lane. The accident seemed to be unavoidable. There was no way out so Cindy braced herself for the crash.
The next thing she knew, a policeman was approaching her car with a crowbar. Cindy realized that she must have been unconscious. By some miracle, she felt sore but calm. Her thoughts were, "Something is different, very different. What has happened to me?" Cindy's little car was totaled. People at the scene wondered how she could have walked out alive. After answering many questions, the bruised and shaken woman told the policeman she was okay and just wanted to go home.
The next day, Cindy was aware of feeling very different; like a butterfly coming out of a cocoon. It was a mystery but her personality felt changed. She was used to meditating with the angels so she asked, "What is happening to me?" The angels responded, "Cindy went home. Another being named Mary now resides in your body. As incredible as it may sound, this is Spirit's way of transforming a soul to it's highest honor. Welcome to Earth, Mary."
Cindy thought that she must be making this all up. But over the next few days everything was changing; all her ideas, thoughts and habits. Her whole outlook on life had changed. She felt as though she had been through a whirlwind.
That was an accurate description of what Cindy had experienced. Unconsciously she had made an agreement with a higher spirit to come in and utilize her body for a vehicle on planet earth. Cindy had wanted to leave and this was an excellent way to continue to serve even after she left her body. A walk-in is an efficient way God created to help higher beings come in quickly instead of going through the natural birth process and many years of growth and training. In this way, almost immediately, they can begin to do their light work. Especially now, during the Age of Aquarius, many are needed to assist the masses to expand their consciousness; to live more in their hearts and create peace on earth. Many people on earth have been and continue to have this divine experience.
Like buying a used car, a walk-in takes the body as it is. It takes awhile for the new spirit to heal the body. In Cindy's case, the healing was taking place very quickly. Since I had previously assisted her with other problems as a counselor, psychic and spiritual healer, she trusted me to help her understand, accept and integrate the new energies. Within a few days, her chronic maladies were dissipating. She was already decreasing her medication for high blood pressure and allergies.
It was understandable that Cindy was confused because she was aware of some of her old thoughts and behaviors and yet she felt like a brand new person. She began to accept that her old self was no longer present. Mary had taken residence within her being and she felt more comfortable with her new self every day. This new presence was obviously stronger, braver, happier and more grounded. For example, when she entered a cleaning store, two large German Shepherds started barking. Her old personality would have panicked because she had previously been bitten by such a dog. However, she remained calm, gently raised her hand and smiled as she said in a loving voice "It's okay." To her surprise, and that of the owner, the dogs quieted down.
Cindy was brought up by very loving but overprotective parents. Her mother's fears and worries had rubbed off on her in many ways. Cindy was afraid to drive very far from home. However, Mary drove much further and even in the pouring rain. She also found herself speaking up to people; something she never did before. Being assertive was definitely not one of her previous traits.
Mary continued to have many new experiences that were very much out of her old character. Her previous introverted personality was no more. A strong, active extrovert was quickly evolving. Mary's vision of her service was expanding to being a healer. In a meditation, the angels showed her flashes of her new role.
The neighbors and friends who dropped in to check on her all said that she looked very different and even better than before the accident. When Mary looked into the mirror, she also saw an unfamiliar face. This part of the change was a little scary and eerie. Fortunately, the angels kept whispering into her ears comforting and reassuring words.
A week after the accident Mary was feeling sad and missing Cindy. Just before bedtime, she had what was one of her most powerful meditations in her life. During the meditation, she felt she was Mary observing this cosmic event. She clearly saw Cindy lying in a casket wearing a blue silk robe. Then two large angels appeared and slowly lifted Cindy's body out of the casket and up through the ceiling. The three of them went higher and higher into the sky. As the angels reached a beautiful cloud, Cindy suddenly came to life. As her beautiful higher-self, she looked down toward earth and made a hand motion to Mary. It was like a wave good-bye, except it was more spiritual than just a wave. She beamed a beautiful smile and said these words to Mary. "Be brave, be courageous and finish the Work! I am going home now with my Angels. I love you, Mary." The scene then very gradually faded away.
When Mary came out of the meditative state, she was no longer sad about the loss of Cindy. She knew at last that Cindy was Home where she had wanted to be for so long. She was with the Angels of the Celestial City. Mary was comforted to know that Cindy, with all her pain and limitations, had gone Home. Now she had become a living reality within Cindy's body. It was a mystery in a way, but yet it felt very real and very right.
Mary recalled Cindy telling her friends before the accident that she felt she would be going Home after she completed her twelfth and final tape of a series. Now she realized that Cindy was totally fulfilled when she "died" and Mary walked-in.
Once adjusted to the cosmic shift, Mary heard messages that it was time to move to a larger apartment in a place where she could be with more people of like mind. Cindy had been "hiding" in a small mobile home in a retired community.
Looking back, Mary realized that Cindy's personality was like that of a loving mouse. But Mary was flying high on the back of an eagle. Her expansive feelings were exhilarating and exciting. Mary felt courageous and ready to fulfill her new mission. Cindy had gone as far as she could. She graciously passed the baton on to Mary who was ready to move full speed ahead. She smiled and thought, "God works in mysterious but wondrous ways!"
